The voyages were made by tankers belonging to shipowners registered in the following countries: Greece, Turkey, UAE and Croatia.

In April 2025, a total of 48 tankers exported CPC oil from the Russian port of Novorossiysk, excluding the exports to Bulgaria and Romania. Together they exported a total of about 7 million tons of oil, including 4.8 million tons to the EU and 2.2 million tons to other countries.

Notably, that position is echoed by the UN Secretariat officials.

In January-February 2025, the Ukrainian Defense Forces carried out at least 45 attacks targets on ports, oil and gas enterprises, and pipeline systems in the occupied Crimean Peninsula, on the coasts of Black, Azov, and Baltic Seas, and Russian Federation, which included at least: 39 attacks on oil refineries and oil depots, 2 on petrochemical plants, 4 on gas companies, 5 on ports, and 2 on ships. In total, at least 34 different oil facilities and 3 ports in RF have been attacked.
